Michael Reppas

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Reppas is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he double-majored in Modern Greek Studies and Political Science. Mr. Reppas earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, and his LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Reppas is a member of the Florida, New York and District of Columbia Bar Associations focusing primarily on Art Law and Litigation; State, Federal and International litigation, and the recovery of property and assets in Greece. In addition to writing, Mr. Reppas regularly lectures and consults on the subject of the Antiquities Law and the Parthenon Marbles throughout the world. Mr. Reppas’ academic publications include:

A native of Greensboro NC, Dennis Menos holds BS and MA degrees from Georgetown University, Washington DC, in the field of International Relations. He is also a graduate of the Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA, where he specialized in the study of National Defense Strategy. Mr. Menos' entire work career has been with the US Department of Defense, where he held program management positions of increasing responsibility, in the fields of military intelligence and resources management. He retired from the Department of Defense in 1979. Since retirement, he has been a prolific writer of articles and books on a variety of fields. His principal book credits include: Arms Control; The World at Risk; The Superpowers and Nuclear Arms Control; Arms Over Diplomacy; A Test of Allegiance; and Conversations with a Caryatid. Mr. Menos is an active member of the international movement for the return to Greece of the Parthenon Sculptures now in the British Museum, and proudly serves on the Board as Vice-President of the The American Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures.

Born in Volos, Greece, Mr. Karmiris graduated from the local business school in 1961 following which he emigrated to the United States on an academic scholarship and graduated in 1962 from Camas, Washington High School. Mr. Karmiris received his Bachelor’s degree from the Athens Graduate School of Business and Economics in 1967. In 1971 he received his MBA from the American University in Washington, D.C. Professionally, Mr. Karmiris worked for the World Bank for 28 years until his retirement as a Senior Planning and Financial Officer in 2000. For the last quarter of a century, he has been extensively involved with Hellenic cultural activities throughout the Washington, D.C. area. He is founding member and current President of The Hellenic Society Prometheas, a Cultural and Social Organization of the Washington Metropolitan Area and now proudly serves as the first Secretary of the The American Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures.

  
Alexandros J. Alexandrou

A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Leontsinis is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina and Florida International University and holds degrees in Biology, Marketing and International Business. Mr. Leontsinis has spent nearly 30 years in the customer service industry with nearly 15 of those years in the Marine Coatings Industry. He is a NACE Certified Inspector and Secretary for the NACE South Florida Section. Mr. Leontsinis is active in the Ft. Lauderdale community where he is a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and the happy coach of his daughter’s soccer and softball teams. He is a past Board Member of the Friends of Greece, past president of the Washington D.C. Sons of Pericles Chapter, and a member of the Miami & Port Everglades Propeller Clubs.
